Do sewed in weaves help make your hair grow?

I got my hair sewed in for my wedding almost two months ago. I plan to finally take it out this Saturday. I feel a lot of new growth in my hair and I have been putting grease in it every three or four days. This is the first time I have had a sewed in weave before. I just want to know what I could expect once I finally take this out. Do sewed in weaves help make your hair grow? That's what I heard. My hair was perfect before I put it in. It was shoulder length when I put in, but I wanted a particular style for my wedding that required a lot more hair. So somebody tell me (and don't be rude), do sew in weaves make your hair grow?

Do sewed in weaves help make your hair grow?

Yes it is just like having braids.Sew in weaves promote your hair to grow just like braids do .

Do sewed in weaves help make your hair grow?

Well they don't really promote hair growth. The benefit is that sew-ins help keep your real hair from being damaged from heating, blow-drying, etc. It may seem like your own hair is growing faster but it's not. It's just not being damaged because it's not being handled.

Need makeup ideals for an upcoming wedding...?

I would like to know if anyone has an example in a pic form with this particular wedding style makeup. Using smokey eyes for the color green. With platium blonde hair in a white veil. Fair skin, very-very white. Can anyone help me to decide on what looks best. I want to look super sexy, hot for my man to be. We will be dancing the town away after reception...

Sincerely, Summer

Need makeup ideals for an upcoming wedding...?

There's a site on Mary Kay listed below. I might also suggest that if you have your hair put in an "up-do" that day that you bringa sample of your dress %26amp; picture of yourself in it that you bring your cosmetics and have her make you up. (You should discuss this beforehand, of course.) I have done this and been very pleased with the results; my stylist had ideas I wouldn't have thought of.

Need makeup ideals for an upcoming wedding...?

I could give you tips, but not in picture form, so never mind.

Need makeup ideals for an upcoming wedding...?

My suggestion is that no one here knows how you look, so the best thing is to go to a beauty counter, like Chanel or MAC, at a department store and have the ladies do a makeup on you. You may end up buying something, but you can use those later too-

Go to a MAC counter and have your makeup designed. They will give you a face chart to take with you, if not go to www.MACcosmetics.com and check out the Bridal face charts.

I would go very soft for the wedding and at redo your makeup for the reception. with fair skin, smokey eyes might be a little too much.

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

I am short 5- 5,1 and I have long wavy brown hair, brown eyes and a bit tanned skin color.

The wedding is going to be a very religious one so it has to be 3/4 - long sleeves and modest but I still want to shine with a nice dress, so what colors and style will compliment me? (if there is something also that I can do to look taller except the high heels)? and what kind of cloth I should use for the gown?

The wedding is at night but light colors will do to..

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

I would buy a beautiful satin or silk shantung fabric in a beautiful soft coral salmon color or my second choice would be a silvery soft green in the same fabric. The style that would compliment you would be 3/4 sleeve, a V or a boat neckline, simple in style, with darts in a princess style to accentuate your figure and then the dress would come out to an A-line right at the knee. What you could do is add a little ruffle on the edge of the sleeve and the hem of the dress to give it a little couture look. With it I would use maybe lovely rhinestone earrings and a bracelet. Do not wear mid calf length as it will make you look shorter. You must wear high heels with nude color pantihose, but not that high, say 2 1/2 to 3 inches maybe a sling back style in a silver with a matching silver evening bag. For a covering I would wear a cape or a stole. Good Luck to you

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

just make sure u dont look better than the bride -- probally like brown - burgundy - royal purple color --

to look taller stripes going up and down --

cloth- what month is it in/?? depends on weather

GOOD LUCK

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

you seem to have eva longoria features(it sounds like, as far as color, maybe a little dark/lighter) either way you have darker features. So, black looks timeless and is always flattering, but if you want colors i'd say try a pale pink, or yellow. As far as cloth, i'd try anything flowy, no stretch.

What are some goodhairstyles for long layered hair?

I'm getting my hair cut and styled tomorrow for my cousin's wedding and I have no idea what I want! My hair falls down to 2/3 of the lenth of my back, so it's really long. I want it to stay long, but I'll remove up to six inches. Links with pictures would be awesome!!!

Wedding questions!?

I wanted a little past the shoulder veil length but i may get extensions so my hair will most likely be longer than the veil. Will that look weird? Is the veil sappost to cover all your hair or what? Also should i have my girls all have the same hair style or let them do what they want? I wanna tell them do it how you want just if mine is up have your down and visa versa that way they do look a little different then me ya know. Im also kind of afraid that if i have my hair down which is more natural and they go with their hair up it may be more dramatic than mine which you may call me stubborn but i kinds want my hair to be a little nicer ya know? Help !

Wedding questions!?

It's okay to have your hair longer than the veil - there are all different lengths of veils.

The hairstyles thing is tricky. Of course you will be different and the most beautiful because you will have your hair down and will have the veil. Do the girls have headpieces/flowers they are wearing in their hair? That could determine what they do with their hair. At my wedding, only one girl had shoulder length hair, the others were shorter, so they just had the salon do their hair the way they wanted. I think that's best, because they know their own style, and you want them to be comfy all day.

Wedding questions!?

First decide what you are going to do and that will help make the decision as to what you should tell them you would like fort hem to do but I would not push it too hard because it can cause problems with the attendants. I saw a brides maid show up with purple hair just to tick off the bride because the wedding had turned her into the ultimate bridezilla and the friendship never recovered. Is it really worth it?

Wedding questions!?

The original purpose of the veil was to cover your face. Do not worry so much about the little things. Let the girls wear their hair how they would like to and you do the same. EVERYONE who goes to a wedding is watching the bride and groom. No one will remember how the bridesmaids wore their hair.

Wedding questions!?

I'm not sure about the veil thing... but about your bridesmaids hair: If you would like to make sure that your hair is 'more dramatic' and 'a little nicer', simply talk to them and decide all together what hair styles you will be getting. Let them know that you want your hair to be different than theirs - that's totally acceptable - it's your day!!! Explain your ideas together - it may be a blast to spend time with your bridesmaids before the big day, just a little 'girl-time'! Good luck!

Wedding questions!?

All of these questions are up to you. It is YOUR big day, no one elses. I kinda like the veil shorter than the hair. I think that your girls should have different hair styles, not every style will look good on every face. Have them looking thier best with a hair style that compliments the shape of their faces. No one will get any of the bridesmaids confused with you no matter how their hair is done. Your the bride, your gown and bouquet should say it all. You also need to play with different styles and see which one you like and compliments you. I kinda like the half up half down with barrel curls. that's a traditional hair do. I can't be more specific because I don't know the shape of your face or what your veil looks like. I hope this helps Good luck and congrats.

Wedding questions!?

I don't think you should worry so much. You're the bride...all the attention is on you anyway. I also think letting the girls decide how they want their hair is a good idea...maybe give some guidlines...like: do your hair how you'd like, with half of it up....or, you can style your hair anyway you want as long as it's up. etc.

Good luck...and don't stress so much - your taking the fun out of the planning.

Wedding questions!?

Personally I think it would look a little wierd to have your hair longer than the veil, and I wouldn't stress about your girls hair, just let them do what they want cuz not all people look good with their hair up or down, some may like more complicated things, some may go for more smooth and sleek...They don't have to be clones, and you want them to be able to have the freedom to be beautiful. Don't decide your hair based on theirs either, wear it how you think will make you feel the most beautiful that day, nobody is gonna be comparing how much nicer your hairstlye is compared to the bridesmaids....they are gonna be payin attention to the girl in the white dress!

Wedding questions!?

Definitely don't let your girls upstage you-this is YOUR day!!!

You have every right to tell them how you want them to wear their hair. Wear your hair how you want and discuss with them how they prefer. If you like their ideas, you may not have to say anything.

Congratulations.

Wedding questions!?

I think the veil should be longer. And as for your bridesmaids, I would let them do what they want to their hair, but you may want to specify if you want their hair up or down. I told my girls they could do whatever they wanted as long as their hair was down or half up.... They all looked very nice and didn't stress about it.

Wedding questions!?

it's your wedding and you should do everything the way you feel comfortable with. yes, even the nitty gritty details. don't do anything that you might regret on the day... eg. don't let them choose their hairstyles if you're afraid you might look at them all the time on your wedding day and wish you had told them how you wanted it!

re your hair, don't bother about traditions, just do anything that will make you feel beautiful!

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

I have to attend a wedding tomorrow evening %26amp; want to cover some of the grays that show in my part line when my hair is styled. I'd like it to be similar to a mascara that I can just brush on over the grays.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

they arent the best and quite hard to get hold of

i would buy a hair tonner wash in wash out one buy one to your closest hair shade all the big hair colour names do them.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

There is, it's a "Nic'n'easy" product.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

Yes there is. Not sure where you are from but you can find it at walmart. Its called root touch up.

Is there a mascara-like hair product that I can use to cover the grays at my part line?

Nice n' easy root touch up is your best bet. It has an easy applicator and can be used on the places you want - not all over. Its not too expensive and has a wide range of colours. It is also widely available in mnay shops - at least in the UK I dont know where your from but good luck :)

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Should I wear a necklace with this wedding dress? I Don't normally wear one, and my hair will be down with lots of curls....

This is my dress, however, it is pink where the colour is:

http://www.alfredangeloca.com/Collection...

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I wouldnt with your hair being down. Especially if you dont usually wear a necklace. If you do decide to, I would go with a very small chain and charm, cross, stone, etc. I think strapless dresses look fab without necklaces!

BTW - I love your dress it is absolutely beautiful! Good luck and Congrats!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes, a necklace.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes, I think so. How about a simple, nice strand of pearls?

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

i think that dress with be fine wthout a necklace..but have you thought of just wearng a floating dimond those are very pretty

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I don't think you really need one, especially if your hair is going to be down. But, it would add a nice touch if you wanted to. Nothing too flashy, just a little diamond or crystal pendant would be nice. Something to match the detail on the dress.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

a simple silver chain with a diamond pendant would be ok. Just keep it clean and simple or it'll be overload

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I would wear a pearl necklace choker length and pearl earrings.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

It would look pretty, but becareful - w/ your hair down it may keep tangeling in the clasp

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yeah. You need to be picky on what kind of necklace you get because it should not be to over the top but something simple that is a little long. How are you planning on doing your hair? You should try doing your hair like you want to on your wedding day and maybe buying a few necklaces and trying it on with your dress. You can always return the ones you dont think you will need but before you buy them make sure you can return them and dont forget to keep the receipt. Well hope this helps! And Congratz on getting married! I hope you have a long and happy life together!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

That is really pretty. I would do pink too. I would wear a simple strand of pearls. Nothing flashy, simple and tasteful.

I don't normally wear necklaces either, but in this case I would. I think that having a necklace would be better for the wedding pictures. Helps the eye flow over your entire look. Draws the eye from face to dress, and from dress to face.

A simple chain with a single diamond would look good too.

Another option for a little added sparkle with out wearing jewlery would be to go and get some body glitter. It comes in gel and powder forms. I get mine from a local costume store. I have seen it in Victorias Secret too. Some drug stores may have it. Just put lightly over your collar bone. It just adds a little shimmer and sparkle with out looking goofy.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I think that you can get away with not wearing a necklace. If you are going to wear your hair down and curly you may not see much of the necklace anyway. Maybe just some really pretty earrings and a bracelet (something sparkly!) Beautiful dress BTW...Congrats!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

WOW thats a beautiful dress I love it!!! You might wanna wear something simple like pearls or silver jewlery. They will look nice with the design on the bottom of the dress. Heres some nice neckalaces that will go good with the dress.

You can also check out some of the other necalaces they have there. Oh and congrats on getting married!!!! =D

http://www.brightonretail.com/store/wish...

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

yes, you need to wear a necklace.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes you should wear just a solo pendant. Don't wear a really elaborated one since you already have a color around your chest. Just like a single diamond n lil single diamond lookin earrings would look gorgeous. That's what I'm wearing!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes, I would. Just because it's strapless so it'll be kind of obvious that something's missing. If it were a halter, I would have said no. Just something fine %26amp; simple if you're not used to wearing necklaces. Congrats! Beautiful dress!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

If you don't normally wear one, then don't. You should only wear what you want. It's your day!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

nope nope...i'm not wearing a necklace with my wedding dress...and you should DEFINATELY not wear one with yours....it would take away from the elegance of the dress....especially with your hair down...its too much to look at and your eyes wont focus on just one aspect of the whole esemble. GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!! :o) :o)

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

something small and unobtrusive.....a single diamond. maybe....the dress is so stunning it easily stands on it's own.....you don't need decoration with THAT dress!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes I would wear a necklace just very simple though. Ask your family and friends to borrow something it can be your something borrowed

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes a simple necklace though.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

i think it would look really pretty with a stand of pink pearls to match the trim.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I would ware a matching pink satin choker with a simple pendent very romantic look

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I love the dress! I would wear a simple necklace with a floating diamond or something.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Since the dress is pretty elaborate already, (it makes my eyes look everywhere), it is probably better to either not have a necklace at all or just a very very simple one. Like a necklace with one small diamond.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Absolutely! There is plenty of space between your neck and the dress, it would look really empty without a necklace!

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

This is a fabulous dress. I totally love it and would not even chance spoiling that bold look with a necklace. Especially not with your hair down; the whole thing might be too 'busy.'

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I would wear a necklace. But nothing really flashy and sparkly. the dress by itself is beautiful - you actually don't really need anything. But I'd go with a nice string of pearls or something equally as simple.

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

Yes, try a simple one, maybe flowery chain

try www.weddingsparkles.com

Necklace With Wedding Dress?

I actually am wearing this dress for my wedding as well, different color. I would recommend wearing a necklace. I am. With a necklace it helps the beauty of your neck with this dress.
