I have thick red hair that is down to the middle of my back and I was wondering what I could do with it on my wedding day. My sister wants to french braid it but I don't know if thats really what I want. How are you wearing your hair?

If you decide to have a professional attempt to execute the hairstyle you desire, make sure to make a trial hair appointment prior to the actual wedding. This will give you and the hairstylist time to experiment and make needed adjustments to your hairstyle eg. less/more curl, placement of hair accessories, higher/lower ponytail,ect. Be sure to bring your tiara or veil if you will wear one on your wedding. This will help you see the overall look before the big day.
What kind of hair style? I've always felt that a bride should wear their hair up. Just my opinion. On my wedding day my hair didn't even reach my shoulders it was so short - but I used about 200 pins and it was "up". All my bridesmaids too. No loose hair at a wedding - just my opinion.
What kind of hair style? first i am a guy so i wont be in your position. but what might be interesting is to put some shiny silver highlights that go with your white dress (or what ever color it is). Not silver not grey but metallic silver so it twinkles in the lights. lol just a suggestion

And unless you like how your sister french braids your hair, then opt for a different style that you like. Honestly, it's your day and you should wear your hair the way you want!!!
What kind of hair style? I envy you your hair. My cousin has long, thick red hair like you do and it's gorgeous. She sort of had the same thing for her wedding. People wanted her to wear it up, french braid it, all kinds of things. She was used to wearing it parted down the center and straight. She ended up pulling the top and sides up on top of her head in a chignon (loose bun), and loosely curled the rest. She had flowers around the chignon that had her veil attached. What kind of hair style? it sounds like you have a tradition with your sister...if want to keep that going....try doing looking up hairstyles like fancy up do's with french braids to pull your hair up

Red and long lets see red and long...oh yeah and thivk....test trail ok this is just and idea. take your hiar and curl it in loose curls. then tack hiar pens and pen it up ok i know you are like pen it up how in what manner. Thats the whole point experiment. If that does not work take you hiar put it at the top of your head in a ponytail, and curl it into ringlets and pent it agian. Or go to a black beauty shop they are usually good at coming up with prety hairstyles for special occasions with out making you look ghetto.

I'm sure if you explain that you appreciate her suggestion but you would like to try something different, she will understand. I was planning on having the hair dresser curl ever piece in thick pretty curls maybe put half my hair up or not but I think I looks better down. You should try putting thick blonde steaks in, trust me it looks good! Don閳ユ獩 have your hair up its so old fashion, and long hair left down is very sexy.

The half up gives your head piece an anchor, which you won't get with a french braid. All up is good too, but would be hard to do with such long hair.

Time for a change - you have worn the same hairstyle for all other occasions so you should change it. All the other occasions were when you were young and immature, show how much you have grown up with a classy hair do. You can have half up and half down, or completely loose with curls.

You can also type in wedding hair styles in any search bar and come up with some great pictures.
What kind of hair style? ok-NO french braid! The only time a french braids are appropriate is when you are playing like softball or something like that. Don't let your sister talk you into it if you are not sure. I am personally wearing mine half up half down with the veil put in towards the back of my hair over the barrett and really curly. What kind of hair style? You could do a style that is only half up. From the sounds of it you normally have your hair completely up off your face so half up with lots of curl would be nice. Go to The Knot (http://www.theknot.com) and there is a section there with a variety of hairstyles.
